SchoolEdge follows curricula aligned with Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) and Pearson Edexcel. Students are prepared to sit for the O Level and A Level examinations. The curriculum is designed to help students progressively develop their knowledge, skills, and understanding in English and other subjects as they advance through the grades. Alongside the core academic subjects, the curriculum includes a wide range of books and activities that contribute to the students’ moral, ethical, and ideological development .
Playgroup • Nursery • Kindergarten 1 & 2
The Pre-Primary Level comprises Playgroup, Nursery, Kindergarten 1, and Kindergarten 2 . During these formative years, students develop foundational skills in language, grammar, reading, and writing, as well as basic mathematical and logical concepts. They are also introduced to social, moral, and religious values and teachings.
Teaching at this level is primarily activity-based, incorporating art and craft, music, play, and hands-on learning . These approaches make learning enjoyable and engaging while gradually preparing children for the transition to primary education.
Grade I – V
The Primary Level comprises five years of learning, from Grade I to Grade V. During these years, students develop their knowledge and skills in English Language and Literature, Bangla, Mathematics, Science, ICT, Social Studies, Islamic Studies, Arabic Language, Quran Recitation, Hifz (optional), Art, and Physical Education .
Learning is primarily application-based, with lessons connected to real-world examples and practical situations. This approach helps students develop conceptual understanding, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills while gradually preparing them for the demands of the O Level curriculum. In addition to academic subjects, students have opportunities to participate in a range of co-curricular and extracurricular activities, including Taekwondo, Art and Craft, and the Coding Club .
Grade VI – VIII | O Level (IX–X) | A Level (XI–XII)
The Senior Level comprises Grades VI to VIII, followed by O Level (Grades IX and X) and A Level (Grades XI and XII) . At this stage, students progressively work towards their O Level and A Level qualifications through a structured and rigorous academic programme.
Students are regularly assessed on their understanding and application of knowledge through a variety of application-based questions, classwork, assignments, and assessments . Theseapproaches help students strengthen their subject knowledge, analytical abilities, and examination skills in preparation for their O Level and A Level examinations. At the O Level stage, SchoolEdge offers students the opportunity to choose between the Cambridge and Pearson Edexcel IGCSE curricula , allowing them to follow a pathway that best suits their academic interests, abilities, and future educational goals.
